
Stories of the Dreaming
- This animated series tells Dreaming stories from the different clans of the Yanyuwa people. The present generation of Yanyuwa elders from Borroloola are very concerned about passing on knowledge to future generations. This series was created to assist the elders to maintain this knowledge. (Years 9–10)
Dust Echoes: Animated Stories
- Dust Echoes is a series of beautifully animated Dreamtime stories from Central Arnhem Land. Watch the story of Old Victor, who is searching for his dreaming body; the Wagalak sisters, who created the landscape, then lost it all; the sacred part of the Limmen Bight River where the freshwater people never make a sound; and many more stories of love, loyalty, duty to country and Aboriginal custom and law. (Years 7–10)

By many in this country, it's called "invasion" and the process of colonisation is remembered for decimating culture and dispossessing generations. But in the Torres Strait, first contact with the British is remembered differently. Their first encounter was with "The London Missionary Society", and each year the anniversary of that meeting is celebrated with a festival called: ‘The Coming of The Light’.
